Ticklewicks

In the quiet corners of old forests, towns, and castles live the Ticklewicks. These tiny mouse-like creatures have made their homes in old bells, tower clocks, and forgotten timepieces. Curled up among gears and brass wheels, they sleep, listening to the gentle ticking of time. The clock's soft tick-tock is their lullaby. It is said that the Ticklewicks listen attentively to the passage of time and remember moments long forgotten by humans. One thing, however, seems certain: wherever a Ticklewick sleeps, time passes just a tiny bit slower for a moment.

Ticklewicks are considered calm and patient creatures. While humans rush through their days, they spend their time quietly observing and listening to the steady rhythm of the world. Perhaps therein lies their special secret: they know no haste or agenda.

It is said that Ticklewicks sense when a place holds many stories within it. There they settle and preserve the memory of all the little moments that have been lost over the years. Those who meet them often notice something strange: for a brief moment, everything seems quieter, clearer, and a little slower – as if time itself has decided to wait for a breath.
