The Redwood Merrycaps are cheerful, sociable woodland creatures with sharp minds and a big heart for community. In our shop in Rothenburg, they bring movement, laughter, and lively conversation – and not infrequently, a subtle invitation to a game of chess.

 

Like all beings in Legends of the Forest, each Redwood Merrycap exists only once. Each one is unique, with its own color, temperament, and a very personal way of enlivening the space around it.

 

Merrycaps love company. They think together, play together, and thrive on interaction. A single Merrycap can be friendly and curious, but they are only truly happy when they are not alone. That's why many visitors consciously choose to take in more than one. Not just out of a passion for collecting, but also out of consideration for one another.

 

They say they choose people who enjoy community, like to share, and know that intelligence and warmth are not mutually exclusive. And of course, they let you believe you chose them. But when two or more Merrycaps are sitting contentedly together, it's clear: this decision was conscious and correct.

 

A visit is therefore doubly worthwhile – sometimes even several times over – for heart, mind and a little playful magic.
